The West Coast has always shaped the way I see the world. Growing up in British Columbia, I was surrounded by mountains, forests, and the coastline — places that taught me to appreciate natural beauty, detail, and craftsmanship from an early age.

I’ve always been drawn to both nature and art. There’s something incredible about the way natural materials form over time, and I’ve long admired the people who can take those raw materials and turn them into something meaningful through skill and patience.

That’s what first drew me to gemstones.

To me, gemstones sit at the intersection of nature, creativity, and precision. Every stone carries its own character, and every cut has the ability to completely transform the way it comes to life.

In 2024, I founded The West Coast Vault as a way to pursue that passion more seriously. What began as a small gem brokerage quickly evolved into a deeper focus on sourcing and precision cutting exceptional stones for collectors, designers, and fellow creatives.

Today, The West Coast Vault reflects the values that matter most to me: craftsmanship, honesty, intention, and a deep respect for the natural world.
