Raimundo was born and raised on the breathtaking West Coast of Canada, surrounded by the mountains, forests, and coastline of beautiful British Columbia. From an early age, he felt a deep connection to both nature and art—two forces he believes are inseparable. The natural world has always inspired him: its colours, its geometry, its raw beauty, and the quiet masterpieces it creates over millions of years. He has long admired the artists and craftspeople who take these natural wonders and transform them into something extraordinary.

Gemstones, in particular, captured his heart. The passion, craftsmanship, and stories behind each stone felt like an intersection of everything he cared about—art, intention, and the magic found only in nature. Every gem holds a legacy, and every cut reveals a new dimension of its story.

In 2024, driven by that passion, he founded The West Coast Vault, which evolved into a business focused on sourcing and precision-cutting exceptional gemstones. What began as a gem brokerage has grown into a specialized service committed to connecting artists, designers, and collectors with thoughtfully selected, expertly cut stones.
